These terms govern your use of Edugo. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to them.

1. Your account

Provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. Accounts are for students and teachers; you may not impersonate others.

2. What Edugo is

Edugo is a platform that connects students with independent tuition teachers and provides tools to run classes online. Edugo is not a party to the tuition arrangement between a student and a teacher.

3. Payments

Tuition fees are paid directly between students and teachers by bank transfer or cash. Edugo does not hold, process, or guarantee these payments. Uploading a receipt lets your teacher verify and unlock your access; the teacher decides whether to approve it. Any tuition refund or dispute is between the student and the teacher. Teacher subscription plans (Pro / Pro+) are billed through our payment provider, PayHere.

4. Content & access

Teachers own the class content they upload. When you unlock a class, you get a personal, non-transferable right to access its materials and recordings for learning. You may not download, copy, re-share, or redistribute protected recordings or materials, or share your access with others.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the platform: no unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent activity, no attempts to break security or access content you haven't paid for, and no sharing of protected content. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

6. Verification

Teacher verification is a basic check and does not guarantee the quality or outcome of any class. Students should review a class and teacher before enrolling and paying.

7. Disclaimers & liability

Edugo is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for disputes between students and teachers, for tuition payments, or for the conduct or content of any user. Your use of the platform is at your own discretion.

8. Changes & termination

We may update these terms or the service over time, and may suspend or close accounts that violate them. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
