Upgrade from the Plans page. It shows your current plan and, if you're on a paid one, the date it runs until.

Nothing auto-renews

The most important thing about Edugo's billing:

Paid plans are one-time payments that extend your access. There is no subscription, no stored card, and nothing renews automatically.

You pay for a period, that period runs out, and access returns to Free unless you choose to extend. No recurring charge to remember to cancel, and no surprise deduction — a real concern with card payments in Sri Lanka, and the reason it works this way.

The flip side: nothing reminds you when it lapses. If Pro matters to your term, note the expiry date somewhere.

Paying

Payment goes through PayHere, Sri Lanka's payment gateway. Pick a plan, and you're taken to PayHere's secure page to enter your card details.

Edugo never sees or stores your card number. It goes to PayHere, who handle the transaction and tell us whether it succeeded.

On success you return to Edugo with the plan active immediately. Cancel partway and you come back with a message confirming you weren't charged.

Extending before you run out

Buying again while a plan is still active extends it from its current end date — you don't lose the remaining days.

So extending a week early is safe.

Student fees are unrelated

Worth repeating, because it causes confusion:

  • Your subscription — you pay Edugo by card through PayHere
  • Student fees — students pay you directly, by bank transfer or cash

These never mix. Edugo takes no percentage of student fees on any plan, and no student is ever charged by Edugo.

Receipts and records

Card payments appear in Payments under card payments. PayHere also emails you a receipt.

If you need an invoice for tax or an institution, contact us with the payment date and amount.

If a payment fails

Failed card payments show on your Payments page. Usual causes: insufficient funds, a card blocked for online or international transactions, or an expired card.

Nothing was charged. Try again, or use a different card.

If money left your account but your plan didn't activate, contact us with the PayHere reference and the date — that's a reconciliation we can trace and fix.

Before you upgrade

Under the current launch offer every Pro and Pro+ feature is already free, so there's no urgency. Use the features, find out which ones you'd actually miss, and buy when the offer ends knowing what you're paying for.
