Nothing here is a growth hack. It's the handful of things that measurably change whether a student who lands on your class page enrols.
Being findable
Fill in grade and medium. Students filter by them. A class with neither set is invisible to anyone narrowing the list, which is most people.
Write a specific class name. A/L Combined Maths — Theory 2027 gets found;
Maths Class doesn't.
Get the Verified badge. It's one upload and it separates you from unverified teachers in the same list.
Pro+ classes are featured in search results.
Being chosen
A student comparing three classes decides on the page, in under a minute.
A photo of your face. Not a logo. They're choosing a teacher.
A real description. Two or three paragraphs: what you cover, who it's for, what's included, whether recordings are available. A blank description is the commonest reason a good class gets no enrolments — the student can't tell what they'd be buying.
An honest schedule and location. Vagueness reads as evasion.
Something already in the class. A student who enrols into an empty class wonders whether it's real. Upload a syllabus outline or a first-week PDF before you start promoting.
Your personal link
Claim it, then put it everywhere you already talk to students: WhatsApp bio, Facebook page, class group description, printed flyers.
This is the highest-return item on the list. It costs one minute and turns every existing conversation into a way to enrol someone.
Keeping students
Retention beats recruitment in tuition — a student who stays a year is worth several who try a month.
Approve requests fast. A student who paid and is waiting is the most likely to give up.
Attach recordings the same day. The students who value them most are the ones who missed class, and they're checking that evening.
Post notices for changes. Cancelling a session without a notice is how you lose the student who travelled to a locked hall.
Watch the at-risk list. Or, on Free, the Students tab: good attendance plus overdue payment is a student worth a message, not a reminder.
Offer a payment plan before losing someone. A student paying half for two months is better than a student who leaves. Ask.
Word of mouth
In Sri Lankan tuition, most enrolments come from a student telling a friend. Nothing in a dashboard beats that.
What the platform can do is make you easy to recommend: a link they can paste, a profile that looks legitimate, and a class that works the way you said it would.
What not to bother with
Don't create many classes to appear bigger. Three thin classes look worse than one full one, and on Free they eat your 3-class limit.
Don't set the fee low to compete. Tuition fees signal quality. A fee well below the local rate raises questions rather than enrolments.
Don't upgrade expecting growth. Pro saves you time; it doesn't market you. Fix the description and the photo first — those are free and they matter more.
