Students pay you directly

This is the part new teachers ask about first, so plainly:

Tuition fees go straight from your student to your bank account. Edugo never holds your money and never takes a percentage of it.

A student transfers the fee to your account, uploads a photo of the receipt, and you approve it. The platform's job is to track who has paid for which month — not to sit between you and your income.

The only money Edugo charges is an optional Pro or Pro+ subscription for the platform itself, paid by you, separately. Your students are never charged by us.

Filling in your details

In the Bank Transfer Details section of your Profile page, enter:

  • Account name — exactly as the bank has it
  • Account number
  • Bank and Branch

Check every digit. A student typing your account number off the screen will copy your mistake, and the money will bounce or land somewhere else.

What the student sees

When a student enrols in one of your paid classes, these details appear on the payment screen. They transfer the fee, then upload a receipt for you to approve.

They see only what you enter here. Nothing else from your account is shown.

Until you fill this in

Your profile shows a warning, and students cannot enrol in your paid classes by bank transfer. There's nowhere for them to send the money.

Free classes — fee set to 0 — are unaffected and take enrolments straight away.

Accepted payment methods

When approving a request you'll see the method the student chose:

  • Bank Deposit — paid over the counter at a branch
  • Online Transfer — internet or mobile banking
  • Cash — usually a student who paid you in person and whose enrolment you recorded yourself

For cash students it's often quicker to skip the request flow and enrol them directly from the class Students tab.

Changing your details

Update them any time. New enrolments immediately see the new account.

If you change accounts mid-month, watch for a few days: a student who opened the payment screen before your change may already have transferred to the old account. Their receipt will show it, and the fairest thing is to accept it and tell them the new details for next month.

Keeping your own records

Edugo records which student paid which month, and stores the receipt image against the request. That's a useful log, but it isn't accounting — it reflects what you approved, not what your bank actually received.

Reconcile against your real bank statement, especially in a busy month. The Students tab shows Paid, Overdue and Never paid per student for the current month, which is the fastest way to spot a gap.
