Your profile is what a student looks at while deciding whether to trust you with their money and their exam year. It's worth ten minutes.

Your name
The Full Name field is what appears on your classes, your public profile and
in search results. Use the form your students recognise — including a title if
that's how you're known (Mr., Mrs., Dr.) and qualifications if they matter
for your subject.
Change it any time; it updates everywhere immediately.
Profile photo
Click the avatar to upload a photo. A clear, well-lit photo of your face works better than a logo — students are choosing a teacher, not a brand.
Practical notes:
- Square images look best; the photo is displayed as a circle
- Use a recent photo where your face fills a good part of the frame
- If you don't upload one, students see your initials on a coloured circle
Cover image
The cover image is the wide banner across the top of your public profile. Good choices: a photo of your classroom, your students at work, or a simple graphic with your subject and level.
It's a wide, short strip, so anything with detail in the corners will get cropped on a phone. Keep the important part in the middle.
What students actually see
Your public profile lives at /teachers/<your id>, and at your
personal link once you claim one. It shows:
- Your photo, cover image and name
- Your Verified badge, if you have one
- Every active class you teach, with fees and schedules
Open your own profile in a private browser window now and then. That's the view a stranger gets, and it's the fastest way to spot an empty description or a class you forgot to switch off.
What students never see
- Your bank details — those appear only to a student who is enrolling in one of your paid classes, at the moment they pay
- Your email address
- Anything in your dashboard: student lists, receipts, payment records, analytics
Your phone number is shown to students, since it's your contact point for class questions.
