You can use your phone or your email
Either works in the same box. If you registered with 0771234567 and
chamari@example.com, both get you into the same account with the same
password.
Phone numbers are matched flexibly, so 0771234567, 771234567 and
+94771234567 are all understood as the same number.
If you forget your password
- Go to Forgot password.
- Enter either your phone number or your email address.
- Check your email for a reset link.
- Choose a new password — at least 10 characters, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter and a number.
Check your spam folder if the email hasn't arrived within a minute or two. Password reset emails land there more often than any other message we send.
A few things worth knowing about the reset link:
- It expires after a while, and it only works once. If you open it twice, the second attempt shows "this link is invalid or has expired" — just request a new one.
- The reset page asks for the new password twice. Both must match.
- After a successful reset you're signed out and sent to the sign-in page, so you log back in with the new password. That's deliberate.
The reset page always says "If an account matches that phone or email, we've sent a password reset link" — whether or not an account exists. That's a security measure: it stops anyone using the form to work out which phone numbers are registered on Edugo. So a message on screen doesn't guarantee an email is on its way; if nothing arrives, first check the address is the one you actually signed up with.
Changing a password you still remember
There's no "change password" field in your profile. Sign out, then use Forgot password to set a new one.
Signing in with Google
If you created your account with Sign up with Google, use the Google button to sign in — you don't have an Edugo password, so the forgot-password flow won't help you. If you've lost access to that Google account, contact us.
Staying signed in
Your session stays active across visits, so you shouldn't need to sign in every day. Signing out from the sidebar ends it immediately.
Use Sign Out on any shared or public computer. Your dashboard shows student phone numbers and payment receipts.
Still locked out
If none of the above works — wrong email on the account, lost Google access, no reset email after several tries — reach us through the Contact page. We usually reply within a day. Include the phone number on the account so we can find it.
