The Students tab inside a class answers the question you have at the start of every month: who hasn't paid yet?
The summary line
Above the list:
8 of 12 paid for August 2026 · 4 students are overdue
Or, on a good month, All paid for August 2026 ✓.
That's the whole picture in one line. If it says everyone's paid, close the tab.
The three payment states
Each student carries a badge for the current month:
Paid · August 2026 (green) — recorded for this month. Nothing to do.
Overdue · last paid July 2026 (red) — they've paid before but not this month. This is your chase list, and the label tells you how far behind they are.
Never paid (grey) — enrolled but never recorded a payment. Often a free class, a student who joined and drifted, or someone paying you cash you never recorded.
Attendance alongside
Each row also shows attendance as a percentage of completed sessions — 75%,
9/12 sessions — colour-coded green, amber or red.
Read the two together. A student who is both overdue and attending badly has usually stopped coming; a chase message may not help. A student paying reliably with poor attendance may have a clash worth asking about.
Attendance only counts sessions you've marked completed. If you don't do that, these numbers stay meaningless.
Chasing a payment
Remind on an overdue student's row sends them a payment reminder. You get a tick or an error message for a few seconds, then the button resets.
The button is disabled for students who've already paid, so you can't nag someone by mistake.
For a personal message — a payment plan, a specific question — use the message icon instead to open a direct thread.
A monthly routine
- Around the 5th — open Students, look at the summary line
- Send reminders to the overdue list, one pass
- Around the 15th — remind again; the 14-day grace has ended, so unpaid students have now lost access and will feel it
- Message individually anyone two months behind — that's a conversation, not a reminder
Why the 15th matters
Current-month content is open to every enrolled student for the first 14 days of the month, paid or not. From the 15th, unpaid students are locked out.
So a reminder on the 13th is a courtesy. One on the 16th arrives when they've just noticed they can't open the notes — a much better moment.
Across all your classes
This tab is per class. Your dashboard shows total students and this month's card revenue across everything, and the Payments page breaks the money down by month.
If you teach several classes, walk the Students tabs one at a time at the start of the month. It's the only view with per-student payment state.
