If your class runs every Saturday for the next three months, you don't need to create twelve sessions by hand. The Recurring tab on the Sessions form generates them all at once.
Setting it up
Open a class → Sessions → the Recurring tab.
Session Title — the same title is used for every generated session, so keep
it general: Weekly Maths Class, Saturday Theory. You can rename individual
sessions afterwards, which is worth doing for the ones with a distinct topic.
Lesson (optional) — files every generated session under one lesson.
Repeats On — tap the weekdays. Saturday is selected by default. Pick several if you teach the same batch twice a week: choosing Tue and Sat generates both, alternating through your date range.
Starts On — the first session lands on or after this date, on one of your chosen weekdays. If you pick Saturday and a start date that's a Wednesday, the first session is the Saturday after it.
Ends — two ways:
- After N sessions — a count, default 12, maximum 52. Best when you think in lessons: "a twelve-week term".
- On a date — everything up to that day. Best when you think in terms: "until the December exam".
Start Time and End Time — applied to every session generated.
What you get
A batch of individual sessions, each editable on its own. They're normal sessions from that point — reschedule one, cancel one for a holiday, rename one whose topic differs, attach recordings individually.
Generating doesn't lock anything together. There's no "series" to edit as a whole, which means a public holiday in the middle is just one session you cancel.
Practical notes
Check the count before you generate. Twelve Saturdays from a start date in September runs into December — make sure that's what you meant. Two weekdays with a count of 12 gives you 12 sessions total, not 12 of each.
Generate a term at a time, not a year. Plans change, and cancelling thirty stale sessions is more work than generating the next term when you get there.
Public holidays aren't excluded. Sri Lanka has a lot of poya days. Generate the term, then cancel the ones that clash — quicker than adding each session by hand, and you'll spot the clashes while looking at the list.

Recurring sessions are a Pro feature. On Free, add sessions one at a time from the Single Session tab, or use Duplicate on an existing session to copy its setup forward a week.
